Kurt Morriesen

Kurt Morriesen is an experienced leader in ESG advisory and sustainable investments, currently serving as the Head of ESG Advisory at Legal & General Investment Management since January 2022, where responsibilities include reporting to the CEO and Board on investment stewardship and providing strategic leadership in ESG compliance and benchmarking. Previously, Kurt held roles such as Head of Investment Stewardship at LGIM, Senior Advisor on Sustainable Investments at UNDP, and Senior Manager for Impact Investing at Principles for Responsible Investment. With a strong academic background, including an MBA from Hult International Business School and advanced degrees in negotiation and local development, Kurt has a proven track record of enhancing ESG strategies and driving impactful investment initiatives across various esteemed organizations, including the World Bank and Inter American Development Bank.
