Jake Stacey, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 26 years. Jake currently serves as the Executive Vice President Sales and Training at LGM Financial Services, where they are responsible for driving sustainable sales strategies and achieving financial objectives. Prior to this role, they worked as a Branch Manager at Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, where they successfully led a team and achieved significant growth in lending and deposits.
Jake also has experience as a Faculty Member at the Canadian Credit Union Association, where they provided subject matter expertise and delivered learning across a wide range of financial services topics. Jake served as the Vice President of Vancity Community Investment Bank, leading the bank's mission in social purpose real estate, affordable housing finance, and impact investing.
In addition, Jake has held leadership positions at TireLink Canada, BMO Financial Group, CIBC, Scotiabank, Dealertrack, and General Motors, where they demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and achieved outstanding results in areas such as sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and portfolio management. Throughout their career, Jake has showcased expertise in commercial banking, credit underwriting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
Jake Stacey obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Royal Roads University. Jake also earned an Accounting Certificate from the same institution with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management. Prior to this, they pursued a degree in Political Science/Economics from Western University. Currently, they are a candidate for the CTDP Certified Training and Development Professional certification from The Institute for Performance and Learning. Additionally, Jake has obtained several certifications, including Change Management from the Institute for Change Leaders, Construction Financing and Commercial Real Estate Development and Financing from The Risk Management Association, People Change Management Practitioner from CIBC, Advanced Cash Flow Certification from The Risk Management Association, and Commercial Banker Certification from Moody's Corporation.
