Deepak Thassu

Deepak Thassu has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Deepak is currently working as the Sr. Vice President for R&D and Regulatory Submission at LGM Pharma since May 2015. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director at Actavis from November 2011 to 2012. From 2008 to 2011, Deepak served as the Chief Scientific Officer & VP Pharmaceutical Development at PharmaNova Inc, where they were responsible for the development of various nanotechnology-based drug delivery products. Before that, they held the position of CSO/SVP Pharmaceutical Development at Holopack International in 2007. Deepak also worked at UCB Pharma and UCB/Celltech Inc as an Associate Director in the Global Product and Technology Development division. Deepak began their career as an R&D Manager at PT Kalbe Farma from 1996 to 1999.

Deepak Thassu pursued their education in a chronological order. In 1984 to 1986, they attended Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, where they earned a M.Pharma degree with a focus on Pharmaceutics. Later, they attended Cornell University where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General. Moving ahead in their educational journey, Deepak pursued further studies and completed a Post Doctoral program in Biopharmaceutics & IVIVC at the University of Cincinnati from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, they attended the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2005 to 2007, obtaining an Executive MBA with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General. Furthermore, in 2006 to 2007, Deepak pursued an MBA at Queen's University, focusing on General Management & Finance.
