Eric Tai

Eric Tai has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analysis. Eric started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Mecom Power - Engenharia Hung Yip in 2013 before moving on to work as an Assistant Officer at Hang Seng Bank in 2014. In 2016, they joined SAP as an intern, gaining experience in Big Data Platform and SAP HANA. Later that year, they joined HKT, where they worked in various roles such as Data Science Analyst, Associate Data Scientist, and Data Scientist in the Group CTO Office. In 2020, they transitioned to Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited, where they served as a Data Scientist and later as a Senior Data Scientist in the Chairman's Office. Currently, they hold the position of a Principal Data Scientist in the Strategic Data Unit at Li & Fung and LFX Digital, starting in 2022 and continuing till the present. Additionally, they are also a member of the founding committee at Hong Kong Data Club since 2022.

Eric Tai attended the following educational institutions:

1. University of Washington (2010-2014): Eric obtained a Bachelor's Degree with double majors in Economics and Mathematics.

2. University of Kent (2015-2016): Eric pursued a Master's Degree in Operational Research and Business Statistics.

3. Hong Kong Baptist University (2015-2016): Eric also pursued a Master's Degree in Operational Research and Business Statistics.
