Deborah Cary

Deborah Cary, CMP and CIS, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Deborah currently holds the position of Director of Operations & Account Management at Liaisons Meetings & Events, where they oversee the planning, implementation, and management of events, meetings, and strategic planning for clients globally. Prior to this, Deborah founded and served as the President of dEb Events, Inc., a full-service global destinations management and event planning company. Deborah has also held the position of Vice President - Corporate Relations at CBL & Associates Properties, Inc., where they developed marketing and communication programs for multiple locations. Additionally, Deborah has worked as a Senior Vice President - Account Executive at Waterhouse Public Relations, where they managed PR and marketing campaigns, and as an Assistant News Director/Assignment Manager/Reporter at WRCB-TV 3, driving the station to become the highest-ranked news station in Chattanooga.

Deborah Cary, CMP, CIS obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism/Communications from Arizona State University in 1990. Deborah also holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism/Communications from the same institution. Deborah has further certifications including Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) from the Society of Incentive Travel Excellence, Cvent Event Management, Cvent Event Management Advanced, and Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) from Meeting Planners International. Additionally, they have obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in December 2016.
