Floris Brands

Floris Brands is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Stakeholder Manager for Energy Transition at Liander since January 2025. Prior to this role, Floris Brands held various leadership positions at Samotics from May 2021 to December 2024, including Manager of Strategic Partnerships & Accounts and Manager of Business Development. Between January 2014 and May 2021, Floris Brands worked at Ampelmann Operations, progressing from Project Manager for Asia to Sr. Business Development Manager for the Americas. Early career experiences include roles at Bluewater Energy Services as an MSc Graduation Intern and at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a Consultant Intern. Floris Brands holds a Master of Science in Offshore Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Minor in Technology-Based Entrepreneurship, all obtained from Delft University of Technology. Additionally, Floris Brands was awarded a scholarship during tenure as a member of the full-time board of D.S.S. "Phoenix".
