Lois Elizabeth Bingham

Lois Elizabeth Bingham, Esq. has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and positions of leadership. Lois Elizabeth is currently serving as the SVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Libbey since September 2021. In addition, Lois is a Member of Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women executives.

Their previous roles include Executive Director of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. from October 2019 to April 2021, where they managed a $31M non-profit organization. Prior to that, they served as the President of the Detroit Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. from June 2017 to June 2019.

Lois also has extensive legal experience, having held various positions at Yazaki North America, including Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Secretary, from September 2012 to March 2018. Additionally, they worked at R L Polk as the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel from March 1999 to December 2005.

Throughout their career, Lois has demonstrated a commitment to public service and community involvement. Lois Elizabeth currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and was previously the President of the Detroit Chapter of National Tots and Teens, Inc. from June 2009 to June 2011.

Lois Elizabeth first attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law from 1989 to 1992 and earned their Juris Doctor (JD) degree, specializing in Law.

In addition to their formal education, Lois Elizabeth Bingham, Esq. has obtained various certifications to further expand their expertise. In July 2021, they completed the Human Trafficking Prevention Training program offered by the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights. Furthermore, in May 2021, they successfully obtained a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
