Richard Hawthorn

Richard Hawthorn has over 17 years of experience in the tech industry. Richard began their career in 2003 as an Embedded Software Designer at Firesense. In 2007, they co-founded Instafreebie as the CTO. In 2013, they founded Cambridge Hackspace, a 501(c)3 makerspace in the center of Somerville, MA. Richard also served as a mentor for MassChallenge in the same year.

Richard Hawthorn attended Oxford Brookes University from 1999 to 2002, where they earned their Bsc in Electronics, Telecommunications.
