Jose Manuel Cartes

Jose Manuel Cartes has held various positions in the past decade. Jose Manuel began their career in 2008 as an Internship at The Peterson Group. Jose Manuel then moved to AFOSUR, where they were responsible for Finance, Planning, and Feasibility Studies. In 2011, they joined Tuenti as a Marketer and Starcom MediaVest Group as Digital, where they conducted internal digital training and developed digital strategies for clients. In 2012, they co-founded two startups, Tiendalista and Letzee. In 2014, they became a Director at Gran Roque Capital. In 2016, they founded DOCSA. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Founder & CEO of LIBEEN Smart Housing.

Jose Manuel Cartes has an education history that includes a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Europea from 2003 to 2007, a Business Admistration course from UC Irvine from 2007 to 2008, and a Finance, General course from IEB from 2015 to 2016. Jose Manuel also has additional certifications that include a Nova member certification from Nova Talent obtained in April 2021, a PADI (Advanced Open Water Diver) certification from PADI obtained in August 2018, a PADI (Open Water Diver) certification from PADI obtained in August 2015, and a TOEFL certification obtained in September 2007.
