Irene Villanueva

Irene Villanueva has extensive work experience in human resources. Irene is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Liberated Brands since October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at VOLCOM from February 2020. Before joining VOLCOM, Irene held multiple roles at UFC GYM, including Vice President of Human Resources from July 2017 to February 2020, and Director of Human Resources - People Operations from February 2017. Irene also worked as the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development at ASICS America from October 2016 to February 2017. In addition, Irene has experience as a Sr. Manager and Director of Human Resources at various companies, such as Deckers Outdoor Corporation, LSPACE by Monica Wise, C&C Companies, Swell, eMachines, and CompUSA.

Irene Villanueva holds a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach. In 2014, they pursued a program in Organizational Design at Cornell University ILR School. Irene also completed a Coaching for Human Resource Professionals program at the Center for Creative Leadership. In 2012, Irene participated in a Choices Architect program for High Potential Identification at Korn/Ferry International powered by Lominger, followed by a Leadership Architect program in 2011. Other education experiences include training at The Ken Blanchard Companies.
