Dr Nicola Crossley serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Academy Trust since December 2022, focusing on enhancing educational experiences for autistic children and young people. As a Presenter and Coach for Whole Education, Dr Crossley contributes to the MAT SEND Leaders programme and collaborates with E-ACT on curriculum design for SEND. Involvement with the Association of School and College Leaders includes serving as the SEND Representative and Chair of the Women Leaders Network. Dr Crossley is also an Honorary Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick, a Trustee at the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors and Football Beyond Borders, and previously held leadership roles at the National Autistic Society and NAS Academies Trust. With extensive experience, Dr Crossley focuses on inclusion, educational reform, and support for vulnerable groups across various educational settings. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Education and multiple postgraduate degrees in educational leadership and research.
