Anthony Abate

Anthony Abate possesses a diverse background in coaching, education, and healthcare. Currently serving as the Head Basketball Coach at Orange Park Junior High since October 2021, Anthony also works as a Substitute Teacher at Kelly and as an Emergency Medical Technician at Liberty Ambulance, both since October 2020 and February 2021, respectively. Anthony's internship experiences at Hughston and Nemours provided valuable exposure to the medical field, particularly in orthopaedics and neurology. Additionally, during time at Elmira College from February 2016 to May 2019, Anthony held the position of Resident Assistant, demonstrating leadership skills and community engagement, while also contributing to the admissions effort as a Gold Key member. Anthony earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry with a Pre-Medicine Concentration from Elmira College, complementing a strong academic foundation established during high school.
