Gene Rondeau

Vice President, Resort Finance Loan Officer at Liberty Bank

Gene Rondeau has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Gene has held several roles throughout their career, starting in 2006 at the Community Economic Development Fund (CEDF). At CEDF, they worked as a Commercial Loan Underwriter before becoming an Asset Coordinator. In 2011, Gene joined Farmington Bank as a Small Business Credit Analyst and later as a Commercial Credit Analyst.

In 2014, Gene moved to People's United Bank, N.A. where they took on the role of C&I Credit Analyst. Gene was then promoted to C&I Credit Officer, AVP, and eventually became a Commercial Portfolio Manager, Vice President. Gene stayed with People's United Bank, N.A. until 2020.

From 2020 to the present, Gene has been working at Liberty Bank - CT. Gene initially joined as Vice President, Senior Relationship Portfolio Manager, Commercial Banking. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Resort Finance Loan Officer.

Throughout their career, Gene Rondeau has gained valuable experience and expertise in various aspects of banking, including credit analysis, portfolio management, and commercial lending.

Gene Rondeau attended Farmington High School from an unknown start year until 2000. Gene then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from the University of Connecticut School of Business, graduating in 2004. In 2013, they obtained a Master's Degree in Finance from the New England College of Business, completing their studies in 2014.
