Jeffrey Gordon has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles in the security and healthcare industries. Jeffrey is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Liberty Defense, where they are leading a team to develop advanced personnel security screening products. Previously, they held the position of Sr. Director of Engineering at Leidos Security Detection & Automation from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they served as Sr. Director of Engineering at L3 Technologies from 2010 to 2020, where they were responsible for research and development, engineering, and product development for homeland security automated threat recognition systems.

Before joining L3 Technologies, Jeffrey worked at GE Global Research as a Manager of Detector Development from 2005 to 2010, where they managed global R&D and engineering groups to develop CT, SPECT, PET, and X-ray detector systems for GE Healthcare. Jeffrey also held the position of VP of Engineering & Project Development at Digirad Corporation from 2001 to 2005, where they managed engineering groups that developed solid-state nuclear medicine camera research and development. Additionally, they served as VP of Imaging Systems Research at Suni Imaging Microsystems, Inc. from 1997 to 2001, where they developed digital intraoral imaging systems for the dental market.

Earlier in their career, Jeffrey worked at Radiation Monitoring Devices, Inc. as a Senior Research Group Leader from 1992 to 1997, where they developed novel medical imaging systems and founded and managed a medical device development group. Jeffrey also served as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Harvard Medical School from 1991 to 1992.

Throughout their career, Jeffrey has demonstrated their expertise in engineering, product development, and team leadership, contributing to the successful launch and placement of innovative products in various industries.

Jeffrey Gordon received a B.S. in Physics & Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1984. Jeffrey furthered their education at UCLA, where they earned an M.S. in Experimental Physics from 1984 to 1987. Subsequently, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Physics.
