Luke Harwood has held various roles throughout their career. Luke worked at Liberty Defense as an RF Engineering Consultant starting in April 2020, and previously served as the Lead RF Engineer from March 2019 to March 2020. Luke then joined Grayshift in March 2020 as an Engineering Manager until April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Bastille as a Principal RF Engineer from January 2018 to February 2019, and as a Wireless Engineer from January 2015 to December 2017. Luke also gained experience at RFSPACE as a Software/Hardware Engineer from June 2014 to June 2018, and at Internet Labs, Inc. as a Circuit Design Engineer for three months in 2014. In addition, they worked at the Centre for Observational Astronomy in the Algarve (COAA) as a Mobile Application Developer from August 2013 to August 2014, and as a Hardware/Software Developer for two months in 2006.
Luke Harwood pursued their education at the University of Bristol, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from 2003 to 2007. Their academic journey continued at the same institution, and they later earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Communications Engineering from 2007 to 2013.
