Venci Nava has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Venci started their career in 1999 at Quality Suites Toronto Airport, working in various roles such as Front Desk Agent, Night Auditor, Restaurant & Banquet Server, and Kitchen 3rd Cook. In 2001, they gained experience as an F&B Server at Algonquin Restaurant through the Student Work Experience Program. Venci then moved on to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and worked as a Banquet Event Manager from 2001 to 2006. Following this, they worked at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel / Convention Centre as an Assistant Banquet Manager from 2006 to 2008. Venci then joined Delta Hotels by Marriott Vancouver Downtown Suites as an Assistant Food & Beverage Services Manager from 2008 to 2012, and later as a Food and Beverage Services Manager from 2012 to 2013. Venci then worked at the Glowbal Restaurant Group as a Restaurant Manager from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Delta Hotels by Marriott and held various positions, including AGM at SOCO Kitchen+Bar and Char No. 5, and later as a Restaurant General Manager at SOCO Kitchen+Bar and Char No. 5 Whisky Bar. Most recently, in 2018, they joined The Boulevard Club as a Food and Beverage Director before becoming the Senior Director of Operations at Liberty Entertainment Group in 2023.
