Ionel Dragus

Ionel Dragus has extensive work experience in the IT field. Ionel was the Head of IT Infrastructure and Service Support at LIBERTY Galati from January 2021 onwards. Prior to that, they held the positions of IT Infrastructure Manager and IT Service Manager at the same company from July 2019 to December 2020.

Before joining LIBERTY Galati, Ionel worked at ArcelorMittal Galati for a significant period of time. Ionel served as the IT Infrastructure Manager and IT Service Delivery Manager from January 2015 to June 2019. Ionel also held the role of IT Service Delivery Manager from January 2012 to December 2014, where they were responsible for various tasks such as managing the printing fleet and data center sites facilities team. Additionally, they achieved notable accomplishments such as reducing outsourcing contract activities budget by 50% and optimizing printing costs. Prior to these roles, they were the Head of PC and Printer Support from January 2003 to January 2012.

Ionel Dragus completed a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Technical University "Gheorghe Asachi" Iasi from 1991 to 1996. In addition, they obtained various certifications, including ITIL v4 Foundation Level from PeopleCert in April 2023, and the Certified Manager certification from BusinessAcademy in 2019. Ionel also obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from PeopleCert in 2015. Furthermore, Ionel Dragus has completed several online courses in leadership, decision-making, delegation, critical thinking, and other skills through LinkedIn.
