Phillip Humphreys

Phillip Humphreys is an experienced audio and production specialist with a diverse background in technical assistance, sound engineering, and music education. Currently serving as a Technical Assistant at Ferguson Center for the Arts since July 2024, Phillip coordinates various technical elements for events and acts as lead technician for smaller shows. As a Campus Production Specialist at Liberty Live Church, responsibilities include overseeing media programming for services and training volunteers. Previous roles encompass sound equipment management at Craftworks Sound Inc., recording engineering, and teaching music technology as Music Technology Teacher and Band Director at Appomattox Regional Governor's School. Phillip holds a Master's degree in Teaching and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Jazz Studies from Christopher Newport University.
