Amanda Young

Amanda Young has extensive experience in the insurance and financial sectors, currently serving as the Executive Underwriter and Director of Mortgage Insurance at Liberty Mutual Insurance since July 2019. Prior roles at the same company include Director and Senior Mortgage Reinsurance Risk Analyst. Amanda also completed an MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management, where previous positions included Corporate Development Program Summer Associate. Earlier career highlights include positions at ByteGrid as a Senior Financial Analyst and at Freddie Mac in Multifamily Asset Management. Additionally, Amanda has a Master's Degree in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University and a BA in Political Science from the University of South Carolina. Early experiences also encompass an undergraduate research expedition across Africa and a legislative internship with the U.S. House of Representatives.
