Andrea Barhydt

Andrea Barhydt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and data science development, currently serving as the Director of Data Science Engagement & Talent Strategy at Liberty Mutual Insurance since August 2013. In this role, Andrea develops and implements strategies to address the professional development needs of data science teams and designs training programs. Previous positions at Liberty include Program Manager for Data Science Development and various roles in talent acquisition, where Andrea managed teams, executed full-cycle recruitment, and supported strategic hiring initiatives. Prior to Liberty Mutual, Andrea held significant roles at Boston University in undergraduate admissions, contributing to student recruitment and operations. Andrea holds an MBA with honors from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a BA in Hispanic Studies and Human Rights Studies from Trinity College-Hartford.
