Emil Safonov

Emil Safonov is a seasoned Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance since January 2023, having previously served as an Infrastructure Engineer and Associate Infrastructure Engineer from June 2017 to March 2021. Emil began a career in technology as a Techstart Associate and Full Stack Developer at Liberty Mutual. Prior experience includes an internship at Assuricare from June 2014 to May 2017, and a research assistant role at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2015 to January 2016. Additional early work experience includes positions as a Cashier/Sales Associate at Natures Nectar and DICK'S Sporting Goods, and a Game Advisor at GameStop. Emil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed in 2017.
