Nina Staats

Nina Staats is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in building and supporting enterprise-level software solutions. Currently holding the position of Principal Software Engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance since August 2022, Nina specializes in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Node.js, React, TypeScript, and REST. Previously, Nina served as a Senior Architect at mpathic, focusing on Python and machine learning, and as an Information Technology Solutions Architect at Credera, leading the development of REST APIs using Java and Scala. Additional roles include Senior Developer Technical Lead at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Senior Application Developer at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., where Nina implemented various Java-based solutions and provided mentorship. Nina's robust technical expertise is complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wichita State University.
