Virna L. Alexander, MBA, serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer for GRS North America at Liberty Mutual Insurance, a position held since October 2013. With a robust background in claims management, Virna has held several leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Workers Compensation Claims and Vice President of Global Risk Solutions, focusing on strategic vision, quality assurance, and operational efficiency in claims handling. Previous experience includes significant roles at Farmers Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed directing auto claims operations and quality assurance processes, as well as leading a casualty loss team. Early career experience at Allstate Insurance involved managing a claims office with a high volume of auto and liability claims. Academically, Virna holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and an MBA from the University of Baltimore.
