Walter Faasen

Walter Faasen has extensive experience in contracting, procurement, and risk management, currently serving as Senior Director and VP of Contracting and Third Party Risk Management at Liberty Mutual Insurance since February 2014. Prior roles include Senior Director and AVP in the same field, as well as Sr. Contracts Manager in Corporate Procurement. Walter held the position of Director of Contracts and Procurement at the Department of Health & Human Services in New Hampshire from March 2011 to January 2014. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director of Contracts & Pricing and Manager of Pricing at Goss International, and as Manager of Sales Office at Goss Contiweb BV. Walter began their career at Key Technology BV as Service Manager/Project Manager and briefly worked in sales engineering at Key Technology Inc. Walter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, obtained in 1986.
