Nelson Jogins

Nelson Jogins has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role was as a Business Mobile Advanced Svc Tech Support Rep at Liberty of Puerto Rico since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Support Specialist at Liberty Latin America from February 2022 to June 2023.

Before joining Liberty Latin America, Nelson worked at AT&T as a Service Executive from September 2019 to March 2021, and as an Assoc Tech Network Services from September 2012 to August 2019.

Nelson also gained experience as an Information System & Data Base Administrator at the Health Department of Puerto Rico from September 2009 to August 2012.

Nelson's earlier roles include working as a Merchandiser at Unilever of Puerto Rico from June 2009 to September 2009, a Customer Service & Help Desk Representative at Caribbean Transportation Service from June 2008 to May 2009, and a Field Service Technician, Data, Fiber Optic, VoIP Technician at Polytechnic University of P.R from May 2004 to March 2008.

Additionally, they worked as a Field Service Technician at Professional Security Control Systems from February 2003 to December 2003, a Field Service Technician at Rochet Consulting Group, Inc from January 1999 to July 2002, and a Field Service Technician at The Power Place, Inc. from August 1997 to December 1998.

Nelson Jogins has a diverse education history. Nelson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Information Systems from the Polytechnic University of P.R., studying from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed an associate degree in Drafting & Computer Aided Design (Auto Cad) from Instituto de Banca y Comercio, attending from 1991 to 1992. Before that, from 1989 to 1990, they earned an Associate Degree in Electronic Technician from International College.

In addition to their formal education, Nelson Jogins has also obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they received certifications in CompTIA A+ (220-901) Cert Prep: 1 Core Processing, CompTIA A+ (220-901) Cert Prep: 2 Core Hardware, CompTIA Security+ (SY0-501) Cert Prep: 3 Architecture and Design, and IT Help Desk for Beginners. In the same month, they also completed courses on John Maeda on Design, Business, and Inclusion, Strategic Thinking, Transitioning to a Career in Cybersecurity, User Experience for Web Design, and Working with Upset Customers. More recently, in October 2020, they obtained certifications in LinkedIn Learning Highlights: Project Management, The Five-Step Creative Process, and The Six Biases of Decision-Making, all from LinkedIn.
