Valerie Laboy

Valerie Laboy, CPA has a diverse work experience across various industries. Valerie currently holds the position of Senior Financial & Internal Controls Analyst at Liberty of Puerto Rico since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Auditor at Carbonell & Co., LLP from February 2017 to December 2022. Valerie also has experience as an Accountant at José R. Rovira Anadón, CPA from July 2014 to July 2015. In addition, they have worked in customer service and sales roles at Smoke it and More - Cigar Shop, CommuniKart, Inc., and The Room Surf and Skate Shop. Valerie also gained experience as a Sales, Cashier, Warehouse, and Customer Service Associate at Walt Disney World for a brief period from August 2009 to November 2009.

Valerie Laboy, CPA obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad de Puerto Rico, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate's degree in Architectural Engineering from the same institution, completing it from 2006 to 2009. Valerie Laboy earned their CPA certification from NASBA in January 2017.
