Liza Reich Rawson is an accomplished professional in exhibition design and development, currently serving as the Head of Exhibitions at Liberty Science Center since February 2010. In this role, Liza leads the exhibition design and development teams while overseeing capital improvements and special projects. Previous positions include Head of Exhibition Development & Design and Exhibitions Development Lead at Liberty Science Center, as well as Senior Exhibition Developer & Project Manager at Liza Reich Rawson. Additionally, Liza has experience as an experience development consultant, managing editor at Johns Hopkins University, and adjunct faculty at both Bank Street College of Education and the Museum Studies Graduate Program. Liza's early career includes significant roles at Brooklyn Children's Museum, Elizabeth R. Rawson, Brooklyn Historical Society, and The Long Island Museum, contributing to numerous award-winning exhibitions. Liza holds a Master’s degree in History Museum Studies from Cooperstown Graduate Program and a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation from Goucher College.
