Hamza Bellal

Hamza Bellal is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the insurance sector, currently serving as an Actuary for Insurance Europe & MENA at Liberty Specialty Markets since October 2022. Previously, Hamza held various actuarial roles at AXA between September 2016 and October 2022, including Group Internal Audit Actuary, International and New Markets P&C Senior Actuary, and Regional Retail Senior Actuary for EMEA-LATAM. Prior experience includes a position as Pricing Actuary at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from June 2014 to September 2016, and as an Actuarial/Pricing Analyst at RSA from April 2011 to June 2014. Hamza began the actuarial career as an Assistant Actuary at Oman Insurance Company PSC from March 2008 to April 2011. Academic qualifications include a degree in Risk Assessment & Quantitative Analysis from the National Institute of Planning and Statistic and ongoing studies with the Casualty Actuarial Society since 2011, focusing on Property & Casualty.
