Melissa Raquion

Melissa Raquion, CPA, CMA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of accounting. Melissa is currently serving as the Director of Corporate Accounting at Liberty since September 2021. Prior to this role, Melissa held various positions at Suncor, starting as a Refinery Accountant from October 2003 to February 2005. Melissa then progressed to become an Accounting Analyst, and eventually an Accounting Analyst III from March 2005 to July 2008. Melissa was promoted to the position of Senior Accounting Analyst from August 2008 to April 2010. Melissa then took on the role of Team Leader in Supply Accounting from May 2010 to December 2015. From January 2016 to December 2018, Melissa served as the Team Leader in Inventory Accounting. Melissa'smost recent role at Suncor was that of Manager of Finance & Planning for Operations & Logistics, which they held from January 2019 to August 2021.

Melissa Raquion, CPA, CMA, obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting from a university outside of North America. In 2007, they obtained their Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Additionally, they have acquired additional certifications such as the Suncor Engage Program from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in 2021, Speaking as a Leader from The Humphrey Group Inc. in 2020, and Situational Leadership from The Center for Leadership Studies in 2019.
