Darren Vickers

Darren Vickers has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Darren is currently serving as an Investment Banking Director at Liberum since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Director in Corporate Advisory Investment Funds at Shore Capital from November 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining Shore Capital, Darren held the position of Director in Investment Banking (Closed End Funds) at Investec from December 2014 to October 2019. Darren also worked as an Associate Director in Corporate Finance at Westhouse Securities from August 2012 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Darren worked as a Manager in Corporate Finance at Charles Stanley Securities from October 2010 to August 2012. Darren also gained valuable experience during their tenure at the London Stock Exchange, where they worked in AIM Regulation from November 2006 to October 2010.

Furthermore, Darren undertook a secondment to Arbuthnot Securities as part of their Corporate Finance role from April 2010 to July 2010. Darren started their professional career at Deloitte LLP as a Manager in Banking & Securities Audit, where they worked from November 2001 to November 2006.

Darren Vickers completed the CFA Level 1 Exam at the CFA Institute in 2009. From 2001 to 2004, they attended ICAEW with a focus on ACA. In 1997, they began studying at the University of Leeds where they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Medical Microbiology in 2000.
