Isaac Veinbergs

Isaac Veinbergs is the current President & CEO at Libra Therapeutics. Isaac has also served as VP, Global Head of Business Development and Licensing, Multiple Sclerosis & Neurosciences at Sanofi Genzyme from August 2014 to May 2019. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director, Head of Functional Neurobiology at Elan from September 2008 to May 2011.

Veinbergs began their career as a Scientist at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. from August 2000 to January 2005. Isaac then became the Principal Scientist at Amgen from December 2005 to September 2008. After that, they became the Director, Research Operations and Business Development at Brains On-Line, LLC from May 2011 to August 2014. Isaac then returned to the pharmaceutical industry as VP, Head of Corporate Development at FoldRx Pharmaceuticals from January 2005 to December 2005. In May 2019, they became the President & CEO at Libra Therapeutics.

Isaac Veinbergs earned a BS in Animal Physiology and Neurobiology from UC San Diego. Isaac then went on to earn a PhD in Molecular Pathology from the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine.
