Nina Safane

Nina Safane is an accomplished education and nonprofit leader with extensive experience in executive roles. Currently serving as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Libraries Without Borders US since September 2022, Nina previously held the positions of Executive Director and Chief Partnerships Officer at COVIDCheck Colorado, a social benefit enterprise aimed at supporting Coloradans during the COVID-19 pandemic. From January 2008 to June 2020, Nina co-founded and directed the model content for the Girls Athletic Leadership School within the Denver Public Schools Charter School system, also serving as Head of School. Nina holds a Master's degree in Education from Teachers College of Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Brown University.
