Magdalena Edwards is a seasoned contributing editor and writer at the Los Angeles Review of Books since May 2013, where Magdalena co-created the "Around the World" section. Additionally, Edwards has contributed as a writer for The Millions and The Paris Review, while also serving as a board member for Heidi Duckler Dance. With extensive experience in literary communication, Edwards has worked as a writer, editor, and strategic communicator for various literary authors and scholars through Row Row Row Your Boat Productions since July 2000. Engagements as a public speaker and literary event host have been held with organizations like the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and the Hammer Museum. Edwards also has acting representation through Baron Entertainment and has functioned as a visiting scholar at UCLA. Previously, Magdalena held the role of co-ambassador for the Los Angeles chapter of The Authors Guild and served as president of ZOOM and EMAR Productions. Edwards holds a BA in Social Studies from Harvard University and a PhD in Comparative Literature from UCLA.
