Deputy Director, National Library Service For The Blind And Print Disabled (nls) at Library of Congress

Jason Yasner has been serving as Deputy Director of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) at the Library of Congress since October 1994, with additional roles including Acting Director of Scholarly and Educational Programs and Operations Manager for the World Digital Library. Prior to this, Jason held positions such as Interim Chief of the Interpretive Programs Office and Lead Information Technology Specialist within Information Technology Services at the Library of Congress. Earlier experience includes working as an Information Technology Specialist at the DHI: German Historical Institute and GMD: German National Research Center for Computer Science. Jason holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business and a degree in Germanic Languages and Literature from the University of Maryland, complemented by educational experiences at the University of Vienna and Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.
