Debbie Joy is an Advisor at Library Systems & Services, LLC. Debbie has also worked as a Grants Manager and Marketing Communications. Debbie began their career as a Librarian.

Debbie Joy has worked in the library field for over 20 years. Debbie started their career as a librarian in the Carroll County Public Library System. Debbie then worked as a grants manager for Center Stage Baltimore and Library Systems & Services, LLC. Debbie has also worked as a freelance writer for Johns Hopkins University Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design, Whiting School of Engineering and other clients. In addition to their work in the library field, Debbie has also been a short feature writer for Baltimore’s Child newspaper, Columbia Business Monthly newspaper and Baltimore magazine.

Debbie Joy holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas and an MLS in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland.
