Tomasz Filipek

Tomasz Filipek has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Tomasz started their career as an IT System Administrator at Wyższa Szkoła Bankowości i Finansów w Katowicach. Tomasz then worked as an IT and Product Consultant at TAYAMA Polska S.J., where they introduced an innovative CCTV system to the Polish and European market. Tomasz later served as the Managing Director at TAYAMA Polska Sp. J., where they implemented new procedures and an ERP system, resulting in a 30% increase in turnover. Tomasz also successfully refurbished and mobilized the company's new headquarters.

Innovation In Action Sp. z o.o. hired Tomasz as an Innovation Development Manager, where they contributed to the development of unique solutions and the creation of a new Digital Signage product. At ISS Facility Services UK, they served as a Systems Manager, introducing digital signage technology to support business growth. Tomasz then joined Human Dialog S.A. as a Software Development Manager, where they led the development and delivery of a RESTful backbone server, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality.

Most recently, Tomasz has been working at LIBRUS spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością sp. k. as a Head of IT Projects, where they manage a wide range of tasks and situations. Tomasz prioritizes projects based on business objectives, defines the product vision, and conveys it to Scrum Teams. As an IT Project Manager in the same company, they prepared project resources, developed project plans, and managed teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Throughout their career, Tomasz has consistently demonstrated their expertise in project management, software development, and innovation, driving business success and growth.

Tomasz Filipek has a diverse education history. In 1995, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Trade from Śląska Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania im. Gen. Jerzego Ziętka w Katowicach. Following that, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued a Master's Degree in International Economic and Political Relations at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Later, in 2001 and 2002, Tomasz attended The Silesian University of Technology and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Networks, Microcomputers, and Databases. In 2010 and 2011, they furthered their education by earning another Postgraduate Diploma in Audit and Internal Control in the Enterprises and Public Administration from Śląska Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania im. Gen. Jerzego Ziętka w Katowicach.

In addition to their formal education, Tomasz has also acquired several certifications. In 2011, they obtained the Professional Internal Auditor II level certificate from The Polish Institute for Internal Control (PIKW). In 2017, they earned the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Most recently, in September 2020, Tomasz acquired the AgilePM® Foundation Certificate in Agile Project Management from APMG International. Tomasz also holds a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE Cambridge University) from the University of Cambridge.
