Chui Loo (Maggie) Ong

Maggie Ong's work experience includes various roles in legal engineering, consulting, publishing, and internships. Chui Loo (Maggie) worked as a Legal Engineer and later as a Consulting Legal Engineer at Libryo starting in October 2020. Chui Loo (Maggie) also held the position of Head of Publishing (or Publishing Director) and Research/Publishing Associate at The London Financial from September 2020 to June 2021. Previously, they worked as a Collaborator at Libryo Collaborate from June 2020 to September 2020. Maggie also gained experience as an IBA Legal Intern at the International Bar Association from January 2020 to April 2020. Chui Loo (Maggie) had various roles during their time at King's College London, including Student Ambassador and Library Champion from October 2017 to January 2019. Maggie also worked as a Mini Pupil at St John's Chambers in June 2017. Chui Loo (Maggie) served as a Student Digital Champion at BPP University from December 2016 to June 2017 and was a Students in Schools Mathematics Tutor at the University of Bristol from October 2015 to June 2016. Additionally, Maggie worked as a Student Ambassador at the University of Bristol Widening Participation and Undergraduate Recruitment Office from October 2015 to June 2016.

Chui Loo (Maggie) Ong began their education in 2011 at Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah, where they completed high school with a focus on the Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'A' Level program. In 2013, they enrolled at the University of Bristol and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Law (LLB).

After completing their undergraduate studies, Chui Loo attended BPP University in 2016 and 2017, where they pursued the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). In 2017, they further enhanced their legal expertise by obtaining a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Financial Law from King's College London.

Chui Loo continued to expand their professional knowledge by attending various certifications. In 2015, they participated in the Global Leader Experience program offered by Common Purpose in Bristol. In 2017, they achieved the Civil-Commercial Mediator Accreditation from ADR ODR International Limited. Additionally, they obtained several Microsoft Office Specialist certifications, including Excel 2013, Outlook 2013, PowerPoint 2013, and Word 2013. In the same year, Chui Loo also completed certifications in Critical Thinking, Giving Your Elevator Pitch, and J.T. O'Donnell on Making Recruiters Come to You from LinkedIn. Chui Loo (Maggie) also holds LexisNexis UK's LexisLibrary Online Research Certification for Basic and Advanced Levels, as well as WestLaw's Basic and Advanced Certification.

Chui Loo's commitment to continuous learning is evident in their recent education history. In 2021, they attended the Fordham Law Summer Institute at Fordham University School of Law.
