Muftah A.

Muftah A. is an Associate Professor at Libyan International Medical University since July 2023, previously serving as an Assistant Professor at Tohoku University from July 2018 to June 2023. Muftah A. has a rich research background, including work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute for Materials Science, focusing on electrical control of magnetism in magnetic tunnel junctions for advanced memory applications, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tohoku University, where Muftah A. investigated spintronics, specifically spin-torque oscillators and magneto-electric effects. Earlier experience includes a role as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, conducting measurement and logging operations in oilfield environments. Muftah A. holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering and a Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tohoku University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Benghazi.
