Sarah Costa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sarah started their career in 2003 with internships at Adoption Network Cleveland and Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland - Parmadale. In 2005, they worked as a Childcare Worker at Berea Children's Home & Family Services. Sarah then transitioned to retail, working as a Customer Sales Associate at The Shoppe and as a Customer Sales Lead at Bath & Body Works and White Barn. In 2008, Sarah joined State Farm as a Claims Representative, where they investigated liability for auto claims and mentored new employees. Sarah later became a Trainer, responsible for policy and claim process training. In 2014, Sarah became a Process Analyst at State Farm, providing operational and analytical support to claims management. Sarah joined Licking Memorial Health Systems in 2018 as a Quality Specialist, focusing on process improvement. In 2020, they took on the role of Epic Principal Trainer.

Sarah Costa, MSLM, CPCU, AIC, AIS has a strong education background. Sarah earned their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Baldwin Wallace University in 2008 and also completed additional coursework in Sociology from the same institution between 2004 and 2007. Sarah went on to obtain a Masters of Science degree in Lean Manufacturing and Healthcare Management from Kettering University in 2021.
