Lieber Institute for Brain Development
Alejandra McCord has been working in the research field since 2007, starting as a Research Assistant at Boston Children's Hospital. In 2009, they moved to Harvard Medical School to serve as a Research Assistant. In 2015, they joined The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a Research Technologist. As of 2020, they are employed at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development as a Research Associate.
Alejandra McCord graduated from Pomona College in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience.

The mission of the Lieber Institute for Brain Development (LIBD) is to translate the understanding of basic genetic and molecular mechanisms of schizophrenia and related developmental brain disorders into clinical advances that change the lives of affected individuals.
