Cynthia Soto Cardinault

Cynthia Soto Cardinault has a diverse work history. Cynthia began their career in 2004 as an Administrator of International Health in the metropolitan area of Tampico-Madero-Altamira for the Secretaria de salud del Gobierno de Tamaulipas. Cynthia held this role for eight years until 2012. Afterwards, they worked as a TI Teacher for a master's degree program at Universidad Latino de Mérida from 2016 to 2018. Their responsibilities included teaching academic and learning functions, focusing on computer auditing and quality models. In 2016, Cynthia also worked as an Online Instructor for Latin American Technological University (UTEL) until 2018. Cynthia then moved on to become an Especialista de Contenido y Diseño Instruccional at Universidad Aliat from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are employed as a Staff Scientist at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, from 2018 to the present, they have been a Doctoral Candidate in Biological Sciences at Centro de Investigación Científica de Yucatán.

- From 1993 to 1997, Cynthia obtained a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Informatics from Mexico Jobs, focusing on Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.

- In 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) at the Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan, specializing in Modelado, entornos virtuales y simulación.

- Starting in 2018, Cynthia began their Ph.D. studies in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics at the Centro de Investigación Científica de Yucatán, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
