Keri Martinowich

Keri Martinowich has a vast work experience spanning from 1997 to present. Keri began their career in 1997 as an intern at the U.S.-Russia Business Council. Keri then moved on to The Coca-Cola Company in Moscow, Russia as an intern for Sprite Promotions. In 2000, they worked as a research assistant for the Department of Genetics at Rutgers University and the Department of Pharmacology at George Washington University. In 2001, they became a graduate student researcher at the Departments of Psychiatry and Medical and Molecular Pharmacology at UCLA. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health. From 2012 to 2013, they were an investigator and lead investigator at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been an associate professor at the Departments of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, an assistant professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and an assistant professor at the Department of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Keri Martinowich received their PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2001 and 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in International Relations with Concentrations in Russian Studies and Economics from The George Washington University between 1995 and 1999. Keri also attended Boston University, and graduated from Hunterdon Central High School.
