Vamshi Venkat

Vamshi Venkat's work experience includes a role as a Research Associate and Data Scientist at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development starting in 2023. Prior to that, Vamshi worked as a Data Science Intern at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital from 2022 to 2023. Vamshi also worked as a Computational Biologist at the International Rice Research Institute from 2020 to 2021, and at ICRISAT in 2020. Before that, they were a Project Candidate bioinformatics at Pine Biotech - Applied Learning. Applied Analytics from 2019 to 2020, and a Bioinformatician at Osmania University from 2019 to 2019. Vamshi's earliest work experience was as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Institute of Genetics in 2016.

Vamshi Venkat has a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Boston University, which they pursued from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their P.G in Bioinformatics from Osmania University from 2018 to 2019. Vamshi also holds a Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Microbiology, and Chemistry from Osmania University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Vamshi has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they completed the "Genomic Data Science with Galaxy" certification from Coursera. In 2019, they acquired the "IBM Data Science Professional Certificate" and "Machine Learning with Python" certifications from IBM. In 2016, Vamshi underwent training in "Toxicology and molecular understanding of gene XRCC 1" at the Institute of Genetics and Hospital for Genetic Disorders.
