Nerea Garabatos Estévez

Nerea Garabatos Estévez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the hospitality and tourism industry. Their most recent position is as a Sales Coordinator at Liewood A/S since May 2021.

Prior to this, they worked at VOS Destination Management from October 2016 to December 2020, serving as a Sales & Operations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for creating and organizing tours in Scandinavian countries, Iceland, Baltics, and Poland. Nerea also focused on selling these tours to major Tour Operators and Agencies in Spain, emphasizing unique experiences, quality, and profitability.

From March 2015 to September 2016, they worked as an Assistant Reservations and Revenue Manager. Prior to that, from October 2014 to March 2015, they served as a Reservations Supervisor.

Their career began at Persona Travel s.r.o., where they worked as a Tour Operator Reservations Agent from September 2012 to August 2014. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Hotel Reservations Agent at Holiday Villa Hotels & Resorts from October 2010 to September 2012.

Nerea also had an earlier role as a Practicum Student Reservations Agent at Persona Travel s.r.o. from September 2009 to December 2009 and as a Practicum Student in Reception at NH Palacio de Vigo from May 2007 to July 2007.

Nerea Garabatos Estévez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Tourism from the Universidade de Vigo, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Planning and Managing of Tourism at the same university, graduating between 2007 and 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Nerea obtained a First Certificate of Cambridge from Cambridge Assessment English in 2009. Nerea also completed courses such as Strategic Marketing and Management of Human Resources offered by the Galician Federation of Business in 2010. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Prøve i Dansk 3 from UCplus Dansk. Furthermore, in January 2021, they completed courses in Learning Excel 2019 and Learning Salesforce from LinkedIn.
