Allison Minix

Allison Minix has extensive experience in organ donation and recovery, currently serving as an Organ Recovery Coordinator at Life Connection of Ohio since June 2021. Previously, Allison held the role of Organ Allocation Specialist at Gift of Life Michigan from December 2018 to June 2021, where responsibilities included managing organ donor charts, allocating organs according to UNOS policy, and coordinating logistics for surgical teams. Earlier positions include Donor Specialist, where tasks involved evaluating potential donation candidates and coordinating the tissue donation process, as well as roles in healthcare support as a Scribe, Resident Care Assistant, and Caregiver. Allison Minix has a Bachelor of Science in Biology, obtained from Siena Heights University, and further studies were completed at the University of New England.
