Thomas Thompson

Thomas Thompson is a seasoned electronics professional with extensive experience in printed circuit board (PCB) and integrated circuit (IC) design. Currently serving as a Senior PCB Designer at Life Fitness since March 2009, Thompson specializes in design using the Altium tool suite. Prior to this role, Thompson held the position of Lead IC Mask Designer at Continental Automotive Systems and Senior IC Mask Designer at Motorola Automotive Division, focusing on CMOS precision analog and digital IC layout with Mentor and Cadence tools. Earlier in career, Thompson worked as an IC Mask Designer at LinkedIn and as a Senior PCB Layout Designer at Zenith Electronics, where significant contributions were made to the design of PCBs for various electronic devices while ensuring compliance with EMC standards. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSEE) from Devry University in Chicago, which was obtained between 1973 and 1976.
