Shannon Gilmour

Shannon Gilmour is an experienced Cyber Security Specialist with a comprehensive background in vulnerability management, threat hunting, and penetration testing. Currently serving as a Senior Vulnerability Management Threat Hunter and Pen Tester at Life Healthcare since September 2021, Shannon has been responsible for the setup and maintenance of vulnerability solutions and an EDR system, along with conducting penetration and web application testing. Prior to this role, Shannon operated as a self-employed specialist focused on bug bounty assessments. Experience includes senior positions at Performanta Group, Bayport Financial Services Group, and Datacentrix, covering a range of responsibilities from endpoint security management to desktop support. Shannon's early career included IT support and sales roles at Prismtech, Compute Corporate Technology Solutions, and DRS, complemented by a PC Engineering degree from the Executive School For Computers.
