Sheridan Yeakey-Porter

Sheridan Yeakey-Porter, RN, currently serves as an Admissions Nurse at VITAS Healthcare since June 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor at Life Management Center of NW Florida, Inc., where trauma-informed care principles were actively promoted, and as an HCBS Nurse Case Manager at Benefis Health System, focusing on data analysis to enhance patient care and secure funding through Medicare and Medicaid. Sheridan has a diverse background in urgent care settings, critical care, and nursing education, having obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing from Montana State University-Northern and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University. Strong leadership skills have been demonstrated through roles in personnel training and management, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic at Highgate Senior Living.
