Steven Kopcho, PhD, currently serves as a Medical Science Liaison at Life Molecular Imaging since April 2024. Prior to this role, Steven was involved in Medical Affairs and as a QC Scientist at Longeveron Inc, where responsibilities included ensuring the development of GMP grade mesenchymal stem cell formulations for Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials and implementing companywide SOPs for MSC efficacy evaluation. Academically, Steven completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at Stony Brook University, with research focusing on cannabinoid modulation in HIV/SIV infection. Previous research experiences include significant contributions to HIV translational research and extracellular vesicle isolation, culminating in a peer-reviewed publication. Steven also has a background in clinical research training and leadership in community service initiatives, holding a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology.
