Catherine Greaves

Catherine Greaves has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Catherine is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Life Saving Victoria since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer (interim) at Country Fire Authority (CFA) from June 2020 to February 2021. Catherine has also worked as the Executive Director of EMV Workforce Planning at Emergency Management Victoria from March 2020 to June 2020. Catherine held the Executive Director role at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria from June 2019 to March 2020. Catherine has extensive experience in the emergency management field, having served as the Director of Corporate Support Services at Emergency Management Victoria from September 2014 to June 2019. Catherine has also worked as the Director of Corporate Services at Latrobe Regional Hospital from July 2011 to August 2014. Catherine began their career at Wellington Shire Council, where they served as the Manager of Organisation Development from December 2001 to July 2011.

Catherine Greaves has a Diploma in Company Directorships from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, obtained in 2003. Catherine completed the Executive Fellows Program at ANZSOG - The Australia and New Zealand School of Government in 2017. In 2014, they became a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Catherine holds a Master of Commercial Law from Deakin University, obtained from 2009 to 2013. Catherine Greaves also has a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from Monash University, which they completed from 1995 to 2001, specializing in Psychology and Management.
